Helena Howcroft lives in Bath, she works as an interior designer. Her paintings are a bright, tactile, modern fusion of her background in fashion / textile design. In 2010 she Painted ' Sea Lion ' for the public art event which took place in the city.

 
SEA LION

Painted and designed by Helena Howcroft and sponsored by Reymond Langton Design, for the public art event "The lions of Bath 2010". The charming Prussian blue ' Sea lion ' has a calming presence. His mane, a waterfall, leads to a swirling of waves whose rippled, textured surface comes to life when light, catches his aqua, cobalt and brilliant blue tones reveal the movement of sea waves through his gloss finish.
